LIBROS LGBT:

Para celebrar el mes del orgullo porfinllegó, he decidido que sería una buena idea hacer una entrada hablando solo de libros con temática LGBT o con personajes importantes que pertenezcan al colectivo. Si bien es cierto que últimamente hay muchos más libros, seguimos teniendo cierta escasez de visibilidad en la literatura, así que nunca está de más encontrar libros nuevos. 

Espero que encontréis alguno que no hayáis leído. Sin más dilación, let’s begin.

Este libro es nuevo, es más, ni siquiera estoy segura de que haya salido aún. Una amiga me lo recomendó y me mandó el epub así que lo leí ahí, os lo voy a dejar abajo para que podáis descargarlo, está en inglés pero no requiere un nivel muy elevado.

Es YA, pero ya algo más adulto, la historia te atrapa muchísimo, es muy divertida y los personajes son una maravilla.

CARRY ON

Simon Snow es el mago más poderoso del mundo, tiene diecisiete años y es el Elegido, el único que puede salvar su mundo.

La verdad: Simon es el peor Elegido que nadie podría haber elegido.

Al menos eso es lo que dice Baz, su némesis. Y Baz será malvado y un vampiro y gilipollas, pero aquí tiene razón. La mayor parte del tiempo, Simon ni siquiera puede controlar su magia, ¿y tiene que salvar el mundo?

Además de este libro, la autora está a punto de sacar una secuela que tiene muy buena pinta, así que es el momento de darle una oportunidad. 

SIMON VS. THE HOMO SAPIENS AGENDA 

¿Qué serías capaz de hacer para proteger tu secreto mejor guardado?

Simon ha hecho lo impensable: ceder al chantaje de Martin. O Simon se las ingenia para que su amiga Abby salga con Martin o este le hablará a todo el mundo de los correos electrónicos. De los correos electrónicos que Simon, escondido tras un seudónimo, intercambia con un tal Bluegreen, que es el chico más divertido, desconcertante y adorable que Simon ha conocido nunca. Y es que Simon, pese a su afición al teatro, prefiere no exponer a los focos su identidad sexual, al menos de momento. Sin embargo, seguirle la corriente a Martin no será la solución a sus problemas, sino más bien el comienzo de un enorme embrollo.

¿Qué hará Martin si no consigue conquistar a Abby?

¿Cómo reaccionará Abby si se entera del chantaje?

¿Qué pensará Bluegreen de Simon si la intimidad de ambos queda comprometida?

Un clásico, que tiene ya su película y que es muy entretenido para leer, sobretodo ya cuando sea verano y queramos relajarnos con una lectura ligera.

Es uno de mis libros favoritos y mi opción de relectura siempre que estoy en un bloqueo, me identifico mucho con los personajes, y estos están tratados con un cariño inmenso que hace que tú también desarrolles ese amor por ellos.

TÍTERES DE LA MAGIA

Los nigromantes de la torre de Idyll no son como dicen los cuentos. Allí nadie sacrifica doncellas ni juega con la muerte, sólo se estudia entre libros y hechizos.

Clarence, que siempre ha vivido allí, adora esa calma.

Hazan, que conoce el mundo exterior, comienza a cansarse de ella.

Sin embargo, cuando unos venenos letales empiezan a comercializarse por toda Marabilia, ambos deben abandonar esa paz. Alguien tiene que encontrar un antídoto con urgencia… aun si el precio a cambio es uno mismo.

Es mi lectura actual, la segunda parte de Sueños de Piedra. No puedo decir mucho acerca del libro puesto que aún no lo he terminado, pero por el momento estoy muy enganchada y tengo muchas ganas de saber cómo sigue la historia. Os voy a dejar el PDF aquí para que lo descarguéis.

Es muy cortito, y si os soy sincera no sé si está en español. Es muy rápido de leer y empatizas mucho con los personajes.

Para finalizar tenemos este, que aún no he leído pero del que me han dicho cosas muy buenas, espero poder leerlo en este mes para conmemorar. 

Hay algunos extras que, aunque no son personajes principales, si que son importantes en la historia y nos dan mucha visibilidad. 

-Magnus y Alec, de The mortal instruments. Ahora tienen un libro solo para ellos, Red Scrolls of Magic, que merece mucho la pena si sois shippers de esta pareja. 

-Helen y Aline, dentro del mundo de Shadowhunters también las tenemos a ellas, en The dark artifices. 

-Diana, también de The dark artifices, cuya historia no voy a desvelar por si no os lo habéis leído, ya que estoy os recomiendo hacerlo, ya no solo por este personaje sino por la historia en sí, que ya está terminada y es una pasada. 

-Nico y Will, en la segunda saga de Percy Jackson, HOO. 

-Magnus Chase, bisexual. Y Alex, de género fluído. Ambxs pertenecen a la trilogía de Magnus Chase, de Rick Riordan.
